- Noteworthy changes
- You now have the option to record left and right click animations in the video.
- The entire capture pipeline is a few percent faster now.
- High performance capture is now the default. GMA950s (Intel MacBook and Mac Mini get a performance boost).
- Changes
- Cursors from Photoshop and MS Word 08 are now shown correctly. The fixes applied here will probably make a number of other problematic cases now work as well.
- The frame rates as reported are now calculated as moving averages.
- Fixed issues switching display resolutions, or performing fast user switching.
- The digitizer rectangle now shows in all spaces (under Leopard) if it's enabled.
- The capture guide now longer appears in recorded video (hurrah!).
- Capture guide now reflects the recording speed (so it jumps across the screen if you're at 5fps and is nice and smooth if you're at 30fps).
- Fixed jagged edges when using GMA950.
- Fixed high performance mode for GMA950. It's *significantly* quicker than older builds now, for this type of GPU.
- High performance capture is now the default. Previous issues with the GMA950 (MacBook/Mini) and dual displays have been resolved.
- Preferences modified - options to flush grab and select high performance have been removed.
- Fixed messed up H264 encoding.
- Frames are no longer quantized to duration boundaries (was causing dropped frames).
- Fixed the "sound disappears after a while" bug, when Record System Audio is enabled.
- Completely reworked timing system. It is now possible to record the iShowU menu itself (this was impossible using the previous method of frame timing, due to technical reasons).
- You can now choose to use an alternate method to capture the mouse cursor. This can be set in Preferences.
- Performance improvements for machines using the Intel GMA 950 chipset (older Mac Mini and Macbooks).
- You can choose if you want mouse clicks on all the time, or only if you're holding down certain special keys (shift, alt/option etc). See preferences.
- The "mono" option has been removed (now all microphone audio is automatically recorded as mono). The system audio track remains Stereo.
- Soundflower updated to the official version 1.3.1. This should fix problems installing Soundflower on some hardware (notably PPC). This version allows volume controls to work when "record system audio" is enabled. Note:The upgrade from 1.2 to 1.3 is not automatic. You will need to first uninstall Soundflower (use the iShowU menu to do this) and then click on 'record system audio' to reinstall the new one.
- The registration system has been updated - you can now have it get your registration details from the internet (pretty much the same as you visiting the SWB website and logging in, just much easier) rather than having to copy/paste them into the right fields.
- Updated the Hungarian, Norwegian and Finnish localizations.
- Some minor bug fixes

Presets are now included for iMovie HD, iMovie and YouTube / Blip.TV. If the FCP uncompressed codecs are present, then presets are created for these as well. Note: The new presets will only appear for new users. If you want you can reset your existing presets (see the Edit menu), but this will erase your existing presets.
