A long time since I posted
It's been a while since I posted here. Let me briefly summarize the last couple of months:

1) One month vacation in Canada / Switzerland
2) Moving from the UK to New Zealand
3) Being without ADSL in NZ, as we look for a house
4) Buying said house
5) Waiting for ADSL to be installed
6) Waiting for the remainder of the office to make it to New Zealand.

All in all, it's gone amazingly smoothly, and by all accounts pretty quickly. I've managed to stay reasonably up to date with the support requirements of iShowU, just not quite as fast as I normally would. I'm starting to put together a feature list for iShowU "pro", which won't be called "pro" but probably something a little different like "gloss" to better fit with the Shiny side of SWB. Gotta have some fun somewhere!

I've also been adding additional features (only small ones) and fixing issues bit by bit for version 1.26. Version 1.26 is quite different from 1.25 in that is quantizes the frame times to the exact intervals specified by the frame rate. It also contains tuned multi-threaded code and enables multi-threaded OpenGL (if that's possible on the host machine).

As far as I can ascertain; 1.26 fixes the audio/video synchronization issues that some were experiencing. This video/audio sync problem is not something that affected all iShowU users, in fact only a small subset seemed to be able to reproduce it. However; if it was a problem - it was a big problem and thus needed a solution - something I hope I'm close to providing with the release of 1.26.

That's it from me for a while. If you'd like to talk about iShowU or any issues with it; or simply want to say hello then please head over to the forums. Thanks, Neil.
